Yakitokibi is a popular summer treat in Hokkaido. Yakitokibi is corn, covered in a soy sauce tare, grilled over a charcoal fire.
“Sapporo Okaki Oh! Yakitokibi” was made with that same flavor in mind, and this Hokkaido-only item was first released in 2011.

This product is made by YOSHIMI, the same company that makes “Kari-Kari Mada Aru?”

It Really Tastes Like Yakitokibi From a Food Stall!

They’re rice crackers fried in oil.
They’re made with a base of glutinous rice, which is then supplemented with plenty of corn.
They have a crispy and light texture, and the soy sauce aroma pairs well with the corn’s natural sweetness!
They’re so good that you won’t be able to stop eating them once you’ve started!

They also contain whole corn kernels, which are delicious too!

I definitely recommend this as a souvenir from Hokkaido!
